3 Vintage MacBeth Evans Glass Co. Bread & Butter Plates
Cremax Petalware Pattern
You are bidding on 3 lovely Vintage Bread & Butter Plates by the MacBeth Evans Glass Co.
The plates are the Cremax color and in the Petalware Pattern  The plates are a cream color with scalloped and ribbed edges.  One of the things that makes these plates so pretty is that the translucent edges tend to take on the shade of the tablecloth beneath them (Photos 10 & 11).  In the 9th photo I held it up to a westward facing window.
I believe the Cremax Petalware plates date from the late 1930’s -1950.
The plates are in lovely condition and measures 6½” in diameter.
These 3 Vintage Cremax Petalware Bread & Butter Plates will be a fine addition to any collection of Depression era glass and will certainly add a touch of elegance to any tableware setting.
